PG - 38-41 AB - Postpartum hemolytic uremic syndrome (PHUS) is an uncommon and potentially devastating complication of pregnancy. We report a case of PHUS in a patient with chronic hypertension and preceding preeclampsia. Since early and appropriate therapy results in remission in most patients with PHUS, the sometimes subtle differences between this syndrome and preeclampsia are reviewed.
