AB  - EU (European Union) and Center of Water Pollution and Control in the United 
      States have continued to measure persistent bioaccumulate and toxic (PB&T) 
      chemicals and persistent organic pollutants (POPs) since the 1970s. In resent 
      years, Pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) have raised more concern 
      among chemists and toxicologists. The present paper introduced the main 
      properties of PPCPs and their present situation of research. Additionally, the 
      potential toxicites of PPCPs to ecological and human health were detailedly 
      reviewed in this article.
