PG - 447-50 LID - 10.1097/RLU.0b013e31828da1f5 [doi] AB - Gastric neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) are very rare, aggressive tumors of the stomach that are distinct from the more benign neuroendocrine tumors, sometimes referred to as "gastric carcinoids."
