AB  - For decades, advances in ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care have 
      been driven by timely reperfusion of the occluded culprit vessel. More recently, 
      however, the focus has shifted to revascularization of nonculprit vessels in 
      STEMI patients. Five landmark randomized trials, all published in the past 
      7 years, have highlighted the importance of complete revascularization in STEMI 
      treatment. This review focuses on evidence-based management of STEMI in the 
      setting of multivessel disease, highlighting contemporary data that investigate 
      the impact of complete revascularization.
